The road trip got off to a rough start this morning when I left the keys to our road trip vehicle in my friend's car. Fortunately, she noticed right away and the slip-up didn't cause too much of a delay. I ended up leaving around 2:30pm to fill the car with gas and pick up Becca in White Plains.
Today was all about proving to ourselves that we were actually going to make this journey. We did not plan any activities for today and did the six hour journey with only two quick stops at rest stations. At the end of Day One, we made it to Allie's house in Silver Spring, Maryland. We passed through New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware before finally arriving in Maryland.
