Going Home

This Wednesday I will be returning to my hometown for the first time since August. Usually, I am incredibly excited to go home but this year something feels off. Home just doesn't feel like home anymore. As of this year, I am no longer a registered New Yorker and I have no plans of returning to New York after graduation. My hometown is no longer where I belong. It has become one square mile filed with nostalgia and awkwardness.

But there is nothing like a little comedy to lighten the mood and get me excited about going home! Besides, if things start to get too awkward and uncomfortable, I can always be thankful that my hometown will never be as weird as Andrew Largeman's!
