For my birthday this year, I decided to run in Brooklyn Foam Fest! It was not exactly what I expected but I am glad I indulged myself. I learned an important lesson. Fun Runs are only fun if you do them with the right people. The runs themselves are never as exciting or engaging as advertised. It's the people you run with who make or break the experience. As long as everyone is in it to have a good time, the whole race could fall apart and all you will remember is how much fun you had!
