Bright Nights Road Race
Yesterday, I ran the Bright Nights Road Race in Springfield, Massachusetts. It was an absolutely incredible experience. Since I was a child, I have witnessed the impressive light displays from the backseat window. But this year, I had the amazing opportunity to truly experience Bright Nights.
As I was running under the lights I could feel the adrenaline coursing through my body. The fast-paced run and sheer excitement of this race gave me one of the best runner's highs I have ever experienced!
I finished the race in 23:59. That is a full 2 minutes faster than my time in the Peter Speranza 5K in September! I only hope I can run even faster this Sunday at the Hot Chocolate run in Northampton!
